How does DocExtract pull data from my documents?
Upload and classify
When you upload a document, DocExtract first figures out what kind of document it is. Is it an invoice? A contract? A tax form? This step is called classification.
Extract the data
Once DocExtract knows the document type, it looks for the specific fields that matter. For an invoice, that might be the total, due date, and vendor name. For a tax form, it might be income and withholding amounts.
Multiple AI models for better results
DocExtract doesn't just use one AI. It sends your document to multiple AI models and compares the answers. When all the models agree, you can trust the result. This is called multi-model consensus.
Review and approve
You always get the final say. DocExtract shows you what it found so you can review it before using the data. Nothing goes final without your approval.
